Don’t forget about the National Trust Christmas Walkabout which is held this year on Friday December 5th 2014 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm, and is a very busy time and event for St. George’s. Some favorites on the walk around town are usually the Old Rectory, Samaritans’ Lodge, Samaritans’ Cottages, Buckingham, Tucker House and the Globe Hotel. We invite people to come down and grab a bite to eat at the White Horse and then explore some of the oldest continually-occupied buildings in the New World which will be decorated and candlelit for the event. The National Trust Christmas Walkabout is a wonderful way of touring the extraordinary living history of a United Nations Educational, Scientific Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site. Each year the popularity of this event is evident as large crowds embrace the Old Town. This is probably the busiest night in St. George’s so it is highly recommended to reserve your table in advance to avoid disappointment. We are taking reservations now for this night and event and we hope to see you all then. There will be dinner specials, drink specials and entertainment provided.
